About the role

• 
  Inward Investment and Local Economy, this externally-focused role will secure and manage external funding e.g. UKSPF and other future funding sources to invest into Hounslow’s town centres. You will promote Hounslow’s towns, neighbourhood centres and high streets, leading networks across the areas including for example the development of BIDs, developing and trialling new models of working and enhancing community engagement. You will develop and manage complex funding bids and programs, and with strong stakeholder management skills, collaborate with cross-directorate teams to deliver inclusive economic growth, strengthen the visitor economy, and lead this work through economic data analysis and dedicated system

You will bring considerable, demonstrable experience and success of working in the arena of Local Economy. You will bring expertise supported by strong analytical, project and programme management skills, as well as a track record of financial competency in managing budgets and commercial acumen in relation to piloting new models, business support planning, including any advisory services and funding assistance. You will have proven knowledge and understanding of the funding landscape and a track record of bidding for and managing complex funding programmes that support the local economy.
