Senior Manager - Accounting & Advisory (No Audit)

I am currently recruiting for globally recognised top 10 practice to recruit a Senior Manager within their highly successful Accounting & Advisory team.

The role is based Milton Keynes on a hybrid basis (2-3 days per week).

This role can offer sponsorship for the right candidate but they must have experience within accountancy practice at Senior Manager level.

In this role you will be responsible for managing the accounting for the business, taking an active role in identifying areas for growth.

Please note, this role is hybrid with 3 days a week required in the office.

You will:

• Manage a number of high profile, commercial accounts
• Provide technical support and advisory services to the business, supporting through the business' audit process (not auditing, but supporting them with their audit queries)
• Have a strong understanding of IFRS and FRS and equivalent reporting requirements.
• Manage your teams’ performance, ensuring appropriate objectives set and development plans
• Comply with non profit reporting requirements, providing guidance to the business or all areas of finance (including forensic, transactional & strategic).

You have:

• ACA or ACCA full qualification (or overseas equivalent)
• Extensive experience within accountancy practice operating at a senior level
• At least three years PQE
• Strong managerial skills and technical finance skills
• In depth understanding of financial reporting requirements
