Are you a commercially astute finance leader with deep technical knowledge and a passion for optimising processes? OneAdvanced is looking for a Senior Manager of Finance Operations to drive excellence across our order-to-cash cycle, enhance billing accuracy, and reduce overdue debt—all while contributing to the financial strength of one of the UK’s most exciting SaaS businesses.

🔍 What You'll Be Doing:

As the Senior Manager – Finance Operations, you’ll play a pivotal role in our day-to-day finance function, with a strong focus on:

• Improving cash collections and reducing DSO
• Driving billing accuracy and efficient renewals
• Enhancing cash flow forecasting
• Owning and evolving the end-to-end order-to-cash process

You’ll lead a high-performing finance operations team, collaborating across Account Management, the Centre of Excellence, and other core departments to deliver strategic improvements that drive working capital optimisation and financial clarity.

⚙️ Your Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead cash collection strategies to reduce overdue debt.
• Oversee accurate and efficient processing of sales orders, renewals, and invoices.
• Strengthen cash allocation processes and minimise billing errors.
• Refine and improve short- and long-term cash flow forecasting accuracy.
• Lead continuous improvement of the working capital cycle.
• Resolve customer queries quickly and effectively, enhancing satisfaction and retention.
• Build a strong, high-performing team culture with a focus on collaboration and outcomes.

🧠 What We’re Looking For:

Must-Haves:

• 10+ years of experience in finance operations/accounting, with 3-5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven expertise in the Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle, collections, and billing.
• Strong technical finance background – you understand the numbers, not just the processes.
• Experience in SaaS or fast-paced, private equity-backed businesses.
• Familiarity with ERP and CRM platforms like NetSuite and Salesforce.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

• ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in finance automation and systems/process improvement.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with KPI-driven decision-making.
