Position Summary

Reporting to the Head of International Market Access, the Senior Manager, Market Access Operations will play a critical role in successful patient access and reimbursement for our medicines across the International Region. They will be an integral part of the International Market Access and Value & Outcomes team, leading key market access business dashboards and reports, managing pricing databases, conducting in-depth pricing analysis and leading project tracking across our portfolio.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and maintenance of key market access business dashboards and reports
  • Manage the global price and reimbursement tracking databases
  • Conduct pricing analytics including international reference pricing analysis
  • Act as project manager for vendor projects and lead market access/V&O project tracking and budget management
  • Contribute to International market access strategies and tactic development
  • Conduct research and gather market intelligence on relevant P&R developments in key countries as required
  • Support publication preparation of conference posters and manuscripts with internal and external authors

Requirements

Educational Requirements

  • Degree level qualification in biosciences, statistics, economics; pharmacy or similar, ideally with post graduate qualification in relevant areas such as health economics, market access or public health

Professional Work Experience Requirements

  • Previous experience in commercial biotech/pharma sector: either in consulting or in pharma/biotech with exposure to market access and ideally Value & Outcomes
  • Good knowledge of EU and international payer systems
  • Previous experience with commercial and pricing databases and analytics
  • Experience working with market research and health economic vendors
  • Exposure to HTA submissions in International markets
  • Good understanding of health economic principles and analysis; clinical trials and regulatory processes

Experience And Skills

  • Experienced in project management, data analysis, data reporting and business dashboards
  • Ability to interact effectively with international affiliates and distribution partners
  • Able to prepare high quality presentations and present confidently to peers
  • Able to operate with autonomy and quickly assume responsibility for projects
  • Solid business acumen and understanding of multi-national business operations
  • Self-motivation and efficiency, with an appropriate sense of urgency in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with the ability to prioritise and support multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously
  • Ability to operate cross functionally including with commercial and medical teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office® (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Travel

  • Requires some travel domestically and internationally
