Introduction
Senior Industry Consultant in Global Industries CoE will have a primary focus on Life Sciences and a secondary focus on Health Care. This role will drive business transformation, digital transformation, and provide thought leadership to accelerate innovation and growth in the Life Sciences industry.
Your Role And Responsibilities
- Nurture and maintain a strong network of connections within Life Sciences Industry to enable business development.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth, signings, and gross margin expansion.
- Develop and manage up to $5m pipeline, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Provide thought leadership and strategy across Data, AI, Hybrid Cloud, and Quantum Computing.
- Drive business transformation for Life Sciences customers, apply Digital Transformation Strategy, and deliver solutions in Data, AI, Generative AI, and Agentic AI space.
- Articulate BioMedical Foundation Models to accelerate Research and Drug Development.
- Accelerate and transform Clinical Trials solutions to enable precision medicine and improve patient outcomes.
- Transform Commercial space by implementing Next Best Action solutions for field sales, Sales and Marketing content generation, and Omni-channel experience.
- Enable Industrial 4.0 transformation with real-time data, anomaly detection, diagnostics, and prescriptive maintenance using IoT and Digital Twins capabilities.
- Develop and deliver Strategic Partner Solutions, including SAP S4 Hana, Oracle, Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud, ServiceNow, Veeva, Adobe, and Workday.
- Develop and enable Hybrid Cloud Solutions from IBM Cloud and Partner Hyperscalers, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Develop, manage, and maintain re-usable Life Sciences assets across the above competencies.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Experience with Business Development in the Life Sciences industry.
- Experience leading and guiding cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
- Deep understanding of the Life Sciences industry, including emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Expertise in Data and AI Strategy, including architecting and delivering solutions in Data, AI, Generative AI, and Agentic AI domains to drive business transformation, innovation, and growth.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Experience building solutions in one or more Hybrid Cloud providers, including IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Nvidia DGX.
- Experience with data analysis and interpretation to inform business decisions.
- Experience with one or more Strategic Partner Applications, including SAP S4 Hana, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Veeva, Adobe, and Workday.
- Basic understanding of BioMedical Foundation Models and their application in accelerating Research and Drug Development.
- Good understanding of Clinical Trials Transformation capabilities and their application in accelerating Clinical Trials and improving patient outcomes.
