Looking to take the next step in your Occupational Therapy career? We're on the lookout for a passionate Lead Occupational Therapist to join our friendly and supportive team in Westmorland and Furness. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead, influence, and make a real impact in adult social care.
About the Role
In this key role, you’ll:
- Deliver strengths-based assessments and person-centered interventions
- Promote independence and improved outcomes across adult services
- Lead and support team activities, deputising for the Team Manager
- Manage a small caseload with complex needs (e.g. moving & handling, seating, major adaptations)
- Provide professional supervision and contribute to service development
You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues, partners, and the community to ensure people are living well and doing the things that matter to them.
What You’ll Need
- A recognised Occupational Therapy degree (or equivalent)
- HCPC registration
- Experience in adult services, including complex case management
- Up-to-date knowledge of national legislation, best practice, and risk management
- A commitment to leadership, supervision, and professional development
