About the role:
As the Senior People Relations Advisor you’ll take responsibility for delivering our provision of high quality people relations advice and people change support across the Drax Group. You’ll ensure that the People Relations team is a credible Centre of Excellence across the Drax Group, providing a work environment where colleague or manager concerns are addressed effectively and efficiently whilst maintaining legal compliance
.
There will be a key focus on balancing risk and commercial priorities through the provision of high quality, pragmatic and flexible HR coaching, advice and support to the business.In addition, you’ll proactively identify ways to drive efficiency in people management processes and upskilling for managers with the desire to increase People Management capability across the group.
This is a highly visible role across the business and you’ll work collaboratively with senior stakeholders and leadership teams to influence and challenge. Using MI data, you will be able to provide analysis on trends, themes and key issues providing recommendations and strategies for improvement
Who we’re looking for:
You’ll be an expert in People Relations, with extensive knowledge and experience of dealing with complex employee relations cases and demonstratable experience of change management programmes acquired from a large Organisation multi-site background.
You’ll have sound experience of working within a unionised environment and experience of delivering coaching, training and development interventions to raise leadership capability.
You must have up to date knowledge of employment law and have the ability to be able challenge, and influence senior stakeholders is a must as well as a commercial, pro active mindset.
You’ll be CIPD qualified (full or part) or equivalent.
