Senior Planner
2 year fixed term contract
36 hours a week
Hybrid working
Office based at Enfield Civic Centre a minimum of 1 day a week.
£41,442 - £44,331 pa
We are looking for an experienced senior planner to join us in the dynamic Plan Making Team. You will be at the forefront of London's growth, helping to steer our ambitious Local Plan through examination, and play a key role in shaping associated guidance. As a senior planner, you will take responsibility for key areas of the Local Plan, working with colleagues and our wider consultant team to prepare for hearing sessions and provide robust and comprehensive responses to the Inspector's questions.
These are exciting times for Enfield - we are tackling the housing crisis head-on with the delivery of new homes at Meridian Water, the Council's flagship regeneration programme, as well as two new emerging settlements in the countryside at Chase Park and Crews Hill. With ambitious low carbon policies and a commitment to affordable housing, we want to embed environmental sustainability and social equity as the foundation for future growth. You will have at least two years post qualification experience and a passion for making great things happen.
