Our Building Operating Unit is currently looking to recruit a Senior Planner to join our Preconstruction team based out of 51 Moorgate. Working with the Preconstruction Director, this role will support at bid and pre con stages of projects, working on major building projects in the private and public sectors.

What you'll do:

  • Manage the overall planning process, maintaining a proactive and professional service to the planning, bid and project teams working to the guidelines of the planning and programming strategic plan.
  • Manage the bid and project planning / programming strategic plan and support the delivery teams in collaborative planning activities.
  • Manage the delivery and maintenance of all associated programmes as required by the bid and project planning and programming strategic plan - Including as a minimum, the Master Integrated Programme including Design, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Handover Programmes
  • Manage the monitoring of progress and production of all internal and external progress reports for completion and delivery to the bid & project leadership teams, client and other parties in a timely and professional manner

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Demonstrable experience of working at the bid and preconstruction phase of projects
  • Demonstratable experience in delivering the planning function on defence and other public sector projects working through bid, PCSA and delivery stages.
  • Experienced in different forms of contract, specifically NEC3 or 4 and JCT.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Planning Software (Asta PowerProject and/or Primavera)
  • HNC/Degree qualification in a construction related subject or trade qualifications
