We have a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Package Engineer to join our growing team here at Katoni.
The successful candidate should have previous experience working in an EPC oil & gas brownfield environment and should have a solid background of package management.
The role entails the following:
- Interpret client functional requirements and process data related to equipment capacity requirements
- Translate those requirements into the development of a technical enquiry packages for rotating/static process and utility equipment requiring a good working knowledge of applicable legislation and industry codes and standard
- Complete a technical bid evaluation following receipt of bids from vendors including raising and close-out of technical clarification. This require an individual who understand when a bid can be technically qualified or not.
- Package manage an equipment delivery including:
- Monitoring progress
- Resolution of technical queries and deviations
- Review and acceptance of vendor documentation
- Coordination of QC engagement
- Ongoing compliance monitoring to ensure equipment and documentation comply with the requirements of the specification and data sheet, industry codes & standard and statutory requirements
- Vendor visits
- Attendance at FATs
Candidates should have previous North Sea experience and have the right to work in the UK unrestricted.
