About The Role And The Team

The Hyperoptic Procurement team delivers a wide range of critical supporting services. It is a fast-paced environment, with a remit that stretches from the identification of and negotiation with new and existing suppliers (“Source to Contract”).

We are looking for a hands-on, Senior Procurement Manager – Indirects to cover Professional Services and SaaS across Marketing, HR, Finance, Insurance, Warehouse and Fleet, a good understanding and experience in most of these areas will be necessary. Marketing is a key area of focus and expertise in this field is a must.

The role also oversees our Serbian team that has a Senior Procurement Manager in place, experience of working with and Managing European based DR's will be beneficial.

The whole Procurement team at Hyperoptic are heavily involved in contract negotiation and work closely with our Legal team. A good understanding of contracting and legals is required.

What will you be doing?

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for indirect categories to maximise value and efficiency.
• Lead negotiations and contract management across indirect procurement categories.
• Strong contracting experience; able to create and manage drafts and liaise directly with counsel to deliver negotiated agreements.
• Extensive tender delivery experience in indirects category; able to drive multiple, fast-paced RFx activities.
• Provide thought leadership on commercial opportunities and initiatives.
• Provide consultancy to the DLT (Director Leadership Team) & SLT (Senior Leadership Team) members to ensure Hyperoptic money is spent wisely.
• Liaise effectively with associated delivery functions on behalf of both Procurement and stakeholders; legal, finance, and procure to pay.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, particularly Legal, to ensure contract compliance and mitigate risks.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• Extensive experience in Procurement, with indirect category expertise and procurement for affiliate marketing being essential
• Provide Business Partner support for the Marketing Team so a good understanding Digital, Affiliate, DM, B2B and Acquisition Marketing, ideally from a subscription or customer facing environment
• Strong focus on supplier evaluation and tendering / contracting (RFPs as appropriate)
• Source to contract category management
• Analytical and presentation skills; must be able to quantify and summarise Procurement initiatives for exec level buy in and approval
• Relates effectively to people at all levels of the organization and within the supply base
• Knows when to push for a solution and how to win people's commitment
• Experience of working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
