We're on the hunt for an exceptional Senior Product Designer to join our growing London team. What you’ll be doing:
Client & Strategic Design Leadership:
- Lead the charge: Independently lead design initiatives on large-scale projects, becoming the key design contact for senior client stakeholders.
- Shape the vision: Confidently capture complex client needs, translating them into clear design objectives. You'll deeply understand their vision, mission, and goals to build strategies that deliver measurable, commercial value.
- Data-driven insights: Use your analytical skills to uncover user behaviours, market trends, and business opportunities, ensuring every design decision is informed.
Advanced Product Design Craft & Innovation:
- Exceptional Craft: Meticulously build intuitive UX flows and create stunning, high-fidelity UI designs.
- Systematic thinking: Lead the creation, evolution, and implementation of robust design systems, ensuring top-tier accessibility compliance across all designs.
- Inspire ideas: Set compelling design challenges and lead dynamic ideation and prototyping sessions to explore truly innovative solutions.
Team Leadership & Mentorship:
- Nurture talent: Actively line manage, mentor, and coach junior product designers, fostering their growth and sharing best practices.
- Build culture: Contribute to a vibrant design environment driven by continuous learning, collaboration, and a relentless pursuit of design excellence.
Consultancy & Agile Acumen:
- Agile expert: Thrive in fast-paced, complex agile environments, seamlessly adapting to shifting client needs.
- Collaborative spirit: Understand how product owners, developers, and strategists all fit together, fostering seamless collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
- Master planner: Craft and execute intricate design plans, expertly managing timelines and deliverables.
What We're Looking For:
- Extensive experience as a Senior Product Designer or similar, preferably within a digital agency or consultancy, with a compelling portfolio showcasing strategic design, exceptional UX/UI craft, and successful client engagements.
- Proven ability to lead design initiatives autonomously on large projects, including presenting to and influencing C-suite and senior stakeholders.
- Expertise in defining complex requirements and translating client business goals into actionable product strategies.
- Strong analytical skills for complex data analysis and identifying critical design insights.
- Demonstrated experience in leading ideation and prototyping workshops.
- A genuine passion for managing, mentoring, and coaching junior design talent.
- Hands-on expertise in building and maintaining design systems, and defining/testing custom accessibility requirements.
- Sharp commercial awareness and understanding of business drivers.
- Comfortable navigating shifting priorities in fast-paced, complex agile environments.
- Solid understanding of cross-functional team dynamics.
