The Role
You’ll be leading the Consumer Pricing team, driving a cross-functional team across Engineering, Science and Commercial. This team and role impact all sides of the marketplace, and operates globally, impacting all of our markets. This is an opportunity to drive multiple strategic initiatives, and have significant impact, seeking to execute against some of the most complex, interesting questions at Deliveroo. Whether optimising algorithms, iterating priority delivery, delivering new features, or partnering with the wider org to balance Plus, Rider and Partner dynamics; you’ll be at the heart of the business.
Requirements
- You’ll be a problem solver. You’re endlessly curious, ask the right questions, communicate clearly, and can translate complex ambiguity into a clear, grounded, execution plan.
- You are able to clearly communicate to all levels within the business, able to drive the team, as well as surface key problems and proposals for input across senior leadership.
- You can combine technical knowledge, a fluency in data to drive priorities, decisions and output. You (whether they are financial or technical) between engineering and commercial stakeholders.
- You think like a GM. We are a central team but with a big impact on the local P&L and need to know the customer, competitive and business context in each market we serve.
- You have a track record of building with operational excellence in mind, co-owning this with your EM.
- You’ll have a growth mindset - we get things wrong, but we learn fast, adapt and move forwards.
