The Amazon EU Heavy Bulky and Services team is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Manager. This role offers the flexibility to be based in Munich, London, Paris, Milan, or Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in optimizing the EU Heavy Bulky Retail Supply Chain, with a strong emphasis on Supply Chain strategy.
Your primary responsibilities will include defining and implementing a comprehensive Supply Chain vision across all EU marketplaces. You will work closely with a variety of partner teams, including category teams, strategic Supply Chain managers, central Supply Chain programs, and operations, to deliver impactful results.
Key job responsibilities
- Strategic Vision and Optimization: Utilize your extensive experience to dive deep into complex Supply Chain setups, re-think and optimize existing structures, and deliver significant impact across the company.
- Process Implementation: Design and implement processes and mechanisms to drive adoption and efficiency across a large organization, ensuring seamless integration and sustained improvements.
- Expert Influencer: Leverage your expertise in influencing and navigating a matrix organization to manage a wide network of stakeholders at all levels, fostering collaboration and alignment.
- Effective Communication: Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, effectively conveying complex ideas and strategies to diverse audiences.
- Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment, demonstrating agility and resilience in response to changing priorities and challenges.
A day in the life
Your responsibilities are to drive the Heavy Bulky Retail Supply Chain strategy to the next level across EU:
- You will oversee and influence the strategic management of the EU5 Heavy Bulky Supply Chain.
- You will represent Retail when defining an inventory strategy to best utilize existing fulfillment capacities.
- You will be defining the key focus areas for collaboration with our operations partners, helping to shape the long term collaboration and goal setting.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience with end-to-end product delivery
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience owning technology products
- Experience with product cycles of 6+ months
- Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
