The role
Role
This is a critical position to support and enable the continued operation and expansion of London Stansted Airport. Serving as the subject matter expert, you will be a key role on reactive and proactive projects, leading on a wide variety of schemes across the airport environment, up to a value of £90m. Your key accountabilities will be:
- Providing technical expertise relating to Primavera P6
- Line management of Project Controller
- Creating and maintaining project budget data, scheduling and forecasts
- Analysis of progress reports against the overall programme of works
- Overall project support
- Producing near, medium and long term capital projects cash-flow forecasts
- Embedding best practice and technical knowledge within wider PMO team
- Commercial management audit
- Supply chain standardisation and review
What will make you successful in the role?
In order to be successful in this position, you will possess and be able to demonstrate:
- Primavera P6 expertise.
- Experience integrating Primavera P6 with other organisational systems
- RICS (or equivalent) membership, or working towards membership
- Cost and Commercial management experience
- Clear written communication
- Experience producing actionable reporting
- Experience leading or managing project teams
- Experience working in a live, operational environment
