We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join our Infrastructure team in Watford.
What you'll do:
- Lead the highways and infrastructure (drainage) teams, providing leadership and a forward-facing interface between the team and clients.
- Mentor team members, supporting the development of technical and broader skills to support succession planning and business continuity.
- Monitor and manage the commercial performance of projects ensuring delivery of a quality service on time and to budget
- Co-ordinate the activities of the team to maximise utilisation and progress engineering designs and project deliverables.
- Lead by example to promote the right behaviours
- Professionally qualified Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE or MCIHT) or an ability to demonstrate that you are actively working towards gaining CEng.
- Previous experience leading and managing team members or a highways and / or infrastructure design group.
- Previous experience of commercial management of projects.
