Job title: Senior Project Professional

Location: Warton – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £47,683 + depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the activities within Design, Development, Test & Evaluation (DDTE) so that they are delivered to agreed time, cost and quality requirements
  • Regularly reviewing and reporting on progress against plan and, where necessary, intervening to resolve issues which threaten delivery to plan
  • Developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders ensuring all deliverables are achieved and that issues are effectively addressed
  • Proactively managing emerging project risks and opportunities
  • Identifying and acting on early warning signs
  • Coordinating the generation of estimates for new taskings

Essential

Your skills and experiences:

  • Experience within a similar role working on complex engineering projects including time, cost & quality management
  • Experience using project management methodologies
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation

Desirable

  • A formal project management qualification or working towards would be beneficial

The Design, Development, Test & Evaluation (DDTE) Project Team

Each Design, Development, Test & Evaluation (DDTE) centre of excellence is a c.500-700 sized engineering organisation, with an annual budget of c£50m, delivering non-recurring projects across multiple platforms including Typhoon, Tornado, Hawk, F35 and future platforms.
