We're looking for a Commercial Services Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Transportation team to support pre-contract and post-contract commercial activities. Could this be you?

Location: Nationwide - remote working available, with travel to offices and sites
Contract: Permanent Fulltime
Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum + £6.7k annual car allowance + private healthcare + benefits
Responsibilities
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll undertake and support Kier governance protocols and processes (PLM) including but not limited to: Permission to Proceed - Notification (PTPN), Permission to Proceed - Approval (PTPA), SOTC, SAM, Group Tender Risk Committee, Delegated Authorities and checking of main contract documents.
Your Day To Day Will Include
- Liaising with the Work Winning Team, Estimating Team, Kier Legal and external legal support in reviewing contracts, raising TQs and attending tender negotiation or dialogue sessions
- Coordinating responses from Kier subject matter experts to ensure that tender risks are fully understood, and optimum positions achieved
- Working with Contract/Project teams to coordinate the drafting of and advise on the form and completion of contractual documents such as subcontracts, consultant appointments, supplier agreements, DOVs, NDAs and MOUs
- Thoroughly reviewing and identifying the contractual and commercial risks within tenders and drive the resolution and settlement of risk mitigation
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great if you have:
- Familiarity and knowledge of construction and/or term service contracts, particularly NEC contracts
- Commercial awareness and experience of construction and/or term service contracts
- An ability to clearly communicate relevant detail
