It’s an exciting time to be in Resource Management and the Business Partnering function as we help to shape the workforce of the future and support the commercial strategy of the business.

The Senior Resource Manager will be responsible for leading, shaping and delivering the resourcing strategy within the Business Solutions Line of Service (LoS). Reporting to the Resourcing Team Leader, the successful applicant will be an integral member of the Senior Operations Team (Business Support Leader, People Consultant and Finance operations leads) and broader LoS People Team.



The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders, building an excellent understanding of the business and strong relationships with Partners and Directors across the business leadership team.

What Your Day Will Look Like

  • Leading, shaping and delivering the resourcing strategy within the Business Solutions Line of Service.
  • Managing, coaching, and developing a team of Resource Managers & Resource Officers to optimise the delivery of an effective resourcing strategy for Business Solutions LoS.
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders, building strong relationships with Partners and Directors to understand the business needs. Understanding the firm-wide strategy, business and resource management strategy and knowing how to apply it.
  • Driving the Resourcing objectives and vision for the business. Influencing and creating a vision for change by role modelling the behaviours needed to be change agents.

  • You excel in managing, coaching, and developing a team to deliver an effective resourcing strategy focusing on Fair Work Access and Allocation.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment and can optimise workload distribution and staff deployment to maximise profitability while supporting employee engagement.
  • You are skilled at promoting and implementing key resourcing systems to enable effective and efficient resourcing.
  • You can deliver the overall Business Solutions Resourcing People and Operations strategy in collaboration with the wider operations and people teams.
  • You can manage key stakeholder relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on resourcing matters, and provide pragmatic advice on workforce planning and people deployment issues.
  • You are adept at interpreting and analysing management information to identify trends and opportunities for improving engagement profitability.
