In the Professional Products Division (PPD), our mission is to be the partner of choice for the professional hair industry, inspiring stylists and creating desirability amongst consumers with meaningful brands. We’re the founding Division for the L’Oréal group, with a rich history over 110 years. The 8-brand portfolio includes the likes of L’Oréal Professionnel, Kérastase, Redken and Matrix and the division is universally known for exclusively supplying salons and other professional customers with the most advanced technologies in hair and beauty products.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
Revenue Growth Management (RGM) Strategy & Implementation
- Develop and implement short/mid-term RGM strategies to maximize revenue and gross profit.
- Lead RGM analysis using diverse data sources (internal, external, financial, market, consumer, etc.).
- Develop a deep understanding of retailer dynamics, value drivers, and consumers.
- Drive the implementation of RGM initiatives and embed them within the local organization.
- Design and implement dashboards and tools to monitor revenue, margin performance, and RGM strategy effectiveness.
Pricing Strategy
- Establish and implement price strategies, including tariff and recommended retail price (RSP) recommendations (including for new product developments).
- Monitor market prices, analyze the impact of price changes, and provide recommendations.
Assortment Strategy
- Develop and implement assortment strategies, including innovation, portfolio rationalization, price architecture, and channel-specific assortments.
Promotion Strategy
- Define and implement promotion strategies, including promotion policies, "golden rules," and evaluation of promotion efficiency and ROI.
- Develop and manage promo tools.
Trade Terms Management
- Manage trade terms, including analyzing their evolution, legal changes, customer comparisons, and retailer narratives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with Brands, Commerce, and Finance teams to gain a 360-degree view of margin and growth issues.
- Provide consultation on channel strategy, customer/channel promotion plans, commercial plans for cost price changes, new product launch plans, and O+O+O customer experience (CX) strategy.
Customer Experience (CX) Strategy
- Contribute to the development and ongoing review of the O+O+O CX strategy and the governance of the CX execution plan.
Who You Are
- Previous RGM expertise and / or high potential business profiles (e.g., demonstrated in Commercial/ Marketing or Finance roles)
- The ability to act as a Change Agent and to influence senior stakeholders, incl. GMs, ManComs and cross-functional teams
- A strong understanding of RGM levers, methodologies and processes
- The ability to implement action plans, prioritize RGM opportunities and translate into actionable recommendations
- Outstanding analytical skills
- Superior data management and interpretation skills to derive insights from analyses
- Strong ability to implement data collection systems and automatize analyzing solutions
- Ability to work with complex and large data sets
