Reporting to the Global Rewards Director, you will work with our global leadership and cross-functional partners to deliver competitive and analytically-driven compensation programs aligned with Airwallex's compensation philosophy and values. You will spearhead all facets of total rewards, encompassing compensation, benefits, and equity for our global business, with a strong focus on employee satisfaction and market competitiveness. This is a senior individual contributor role that will grow as Airwallex continues to scale.
Responsibilities
- Total Rewards: Work with the global team to help shape, build, and evolve our total rewards program and approach. As is typical of growth-stage companies that are pre-IPO, there will be opportunities to establish our immediate and longer-term philosophy alongside the team and management.
- Equity and Long-Term Incentive Programs: Lead the design and implementation of equity compensation programs across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term strategic goals and financial objectives.
- End-to-End Equity Management: Oversee the entire equity process, from budgeting and utilization to continuous process improvement. Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and the Corporate Secretary team to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
- Market Research and Competitive Benchmarking: Conduct detailed market research and competitive analysis to benchmark compensation, benefits and equity practices against industry standards, ensuring a comprehensive and attractive total rewards package while balancing cost and equity dilution.
- Policy Development: Develop and maintain Long-Term Incentive (LTI) policies and playbooks for internal stakeholders, including FAQs and guidelines for employees on equity-related matters.
- Employee Communication: Serve as the subject matter expert for training and education programs. Design and implement communication strategies to educate employees on program features, benefits, and risks.
- Collaboration with the Rewards Team: Partner with the broader rewards team to develop creative solutions for total rewards programs, including setting appropriate pay levels, strategies for new hires, and retention strategies.
- System Onboarding and Integration: Lead the onboarding of new LTI management systems, ensuring seamless integration with internal HRIS platforms.
