Senior Software Engineer - Boutique Trading Firm - London - Up to £250kTC

One of London's best-backed trading firms, is expanding into a new asset class after a few years of excellent performance.

The business prides itself on using the best tool for the job. Their tech stack is diverse, using C++/Rust for latency-sensitive/high-performance systems, as well as Golang/Python for core systems, prioritising reliable, clean and well-written code.

The team comes from various backgrounds. including senior engineers from top teams in successful trading firms, principal engineers from big tech and Tech leads from the gaming industry.

Role:

• Scope, design and build end-to-end solutions for low-latency trading.
• Build real-time simulation environments for backtesting and analysis.
• Work with traders and quants to build impactful tools and automation.
• Algo optimisation for improvement of performance as well as scalability of their strategies.

Requirements:

They have multiple teams hiring within the business covering various areas - the requirements will be generic, but I can specify over a quick call for each area.

• Excellent coding skills in any of the following: Rust/C++/Python/Golang
• Previous experience designing software architecture and building end to end systems individually.
• Ability and knowledge to build scalable solutions for latency/performance sensitive systems.
• Excellent core Computer Science knowledge
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Good unit-testing and ability to write efficient clean code.
