In this role, you’ll benefit from the support of two dedicated legal officers, allowing you to focus on what truly matters. With this high level of assistance, you can manage your time effectively, prioritize your caseload, and deliver the best possible outcomes for the council and the

community.

The role:

• Undertake a caseload of Adult Social care matters
• Provide detailed and accurate advice on the Council’s responsibilities under the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Health and Social Care Act 2008 and Mental Health Act 1983
• Submit applications to the Court of Protection and High Court
• You will be expected to attend court, negotiate, and conduct your own advocacy

About you:

• Be a qualified solicitor, barrister, or legal executive with up-to-date practicing certificate
• Be an excellent negotiator, with first rate communication skills
• Experience of Adult Social Care law
