What We Are Looking For...

Senior Supply Chain Analyst – Global Freight, is an integral member of the Supply Chain Team, responsible for overseeing a small team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of moving goods from origin to delivery in a cost-effective and timely manner. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring key milestones are met for on time and cost-effective shipments.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and organize a small team to ensure efficient and timely completion of day-to-day tasks.

  • Coordinating with overseas origin to ensure key milestones are met, on time and cost-effective shipment.

  • Collaborate with product teams, freight forwarders, and the team of Supply Chain Analysts – Global Freight to ensure work is carried out to meet company deadlines and required standards of accuracy throughout the supply chain process.

  • Addressing and resolving queries from freight forwarders, suppliers, and product teams.

  • Validate processes, procedures, and workflow efficiency, identifying areas for improvement.

  • Maintain data integrity and accuracy.

  • Assist the supply chain manager in completing daily tasks within agreed timescales.

  • Provide estimated cost and lead time calculations to business areas.

  • Perform landed cost calculations and update core systems accordingly.

  • Manage cost price adjustments to margin.

  • Support supplier compliance on freight and delivery aspects.

  • Handle payment of freight invoices and reconcile statements.

  • Assist in financial accruals.

  • Plan and oversee delivery bookings to the DC.

  • Contribute to supply chain projects, process improvements, and cost-saving initiatives.

  • Generate weekly forecast reports, monthly KPIs, and On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) reporting.

  • Conduct departmental 121 meetings and performance management.

  • Provide training to buying teams.


Skills Required:

  • In-depth understanding of import/customs/export processes, formalities, and documentation.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.

  • Ability to manage deadlines and navigate challenging situations, requiring negotiation skills to meet timescales.

  • Self-starter with strong teamwork capabilities.

  • Excellent administrative skills, organizational abilities, and priority management.

  • Effective communication skills for interactions with internal departments, buying teams, DC, accounts, and external freight forwarders worldwide.

  • Perform well under pressure to meet all deadlines

  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
