Role description:
The Site Evaluation & Restoration (SER) team is our award winning specialist business area that investigates, assesses and manages all aspects of the below ground environment with the additional wrap-around project, contract and commercial management teams specialising in all aspects of brownfield regeneration, contaminated land clean-up and demolition services.
We are currently looking to recruit a Growth Lead to join the SER Leadership Team and support the SER Business Director and Solution Lead to develop and implement a plan to drive client development activities aligned to strategy in order to achieve our 2025 business plan targets. The Growth Lead will provide visible leadership and direction to drive the Client development community, leading by example with a strong market presence and proven client engagement and work winning skills

Role accountabilities:
Working with the SER Solutions Lead, the Growth Lead needs to develop an Growth Plan to transition the team from current to new ways of working. This includes:
- Working with SER BD and SL to prioritise accounts and sectors to align to required revenue targets and allocate appropriate Key Client Interface to drive new/ emerging account growth.
- Hold or develop a strong professional profile to support work winning and influence the market, both externally and internally.
- Hold Key Client and Market engagement responsibilities, to drive forward the Growth Plan.
- Lead and upskill the Client Development community to develop their client development skills, encouraging them to build strong trusted advisor relationships with external clients and internal clients and across GBA’s.
- Develop and implement a reporting and communication structure both for the Client Development community and to SER Leadership.
- Support Key Client Account Leads to ensure client development activities are being implemented effectively, this includes elements like: Account planning and management and Client experience feedback.
- Lead and upskill SER Pursuit Leads to support the development of high quality winning bids.
- Lead the development of SER Communications and Marketing Plan.
- Lead the co-ordination and drive proposition development and go to market plan for each SER proposition.
- Lead Client experience engagement to ensure it is undertaken across the SER Key Account Portfolio.
- Support client development community to ensure pipeline is updated regularly, to demonstrate upfront client development effort transitions into actual revenue.
- Track and present back health of key and growth accounts and ensure revenue slow down is identified and acted upon to effectively to mitigate risk.
- Lead major proposals and propositions (notably multi-disciplinary), inclusive of win strategies.
Qualifications & Experience:
This role requires:
- Demonstrable experience at a senior level within the Geoenvironmental Sector.
- A good knowledge of the Geoenvironmental market, drivers and opportunities.
- Experience of leadership roles, alongside credible client or account development experience.
- Chartership is desirable but not essential if experience is relevant and demonstrable.
- A strong professional profile.
