Description
AXA Retail are looking for a Senior Transformation Analyst to join their team. Working as part of the Pricing Transformation Team and the wider Blueprint Transformation Team you’ll deliver an end-to-end quote, bind and policy change solution into the business. This is a dynamic and exciting role working as part of a Pricing Transformation Team to deliver Technical Price algorithms into all Lines of Mid Corp Business. The role is specifically aimed at building, testing and deploying rates, rather than technical modelling.

This role provides great career development opportunities. Through your personal development plan, tailored to you, owned by you and driven by you, you'll have the constant support and guidance of your line manager to learn and develop.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Liaise closely with the existing Mid Corp Commercial Lines Pricing Team and the wider Underwriting team to ensure the Pricing solution supports AXA’s overall Commercial Lines vision.
  • Liaise with our workbench and policy admin system supplier to ensure the transformation pricing solution works end to end.
  • Play a key role in Radar Base build and deployment of product algorithms to the Radar Live environment.
  • Play a key role in all phases of Radar Testing: unit testing Radar Base and integration testing the Radar Live model.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for work delivery.
  • Interact effectively and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Due to the number of applications we expect to receive for this role, we reserve the right to close this advert earlier than the listed closing date to ensure we’re able to effectively manage interest. Therefore, if you’re interested in joining us at AXA, please don’t hesitate to apply.

We know that some candidates may be discouraged from applying if they don't meet every requirement. If you’re excited by this job and the prospect of working at AXA but you’re not sure you tick every box, we’d still encourage you to apply.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in Insurance Pricing, either directly within a Pricing Team; or, supporting a Pricing Team via roles such as Software Development or Business Analysis.
  • Knowledge and experience of computer languages such as Python, SAS, SQL, Excel VBA or other analytical language/tools.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines whilst maintaining reliability and accuracy.
  • Ability to demonstrate high levels of problem-solving skills and initiative. Effective communication skills to help establish a network within AXA and explain complex concepts to business stakeholders.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise own work with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Experience in Commercial Lines Pricing would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience working as part of a project using Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence would be beneficial but not essential.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
