The Role
Our service administrators are vital to ensuring that Via delivers caring, non-judgemental, welcoming, safe and high-quality support to people who use our services, their loved ones, and other professionals we work with.
Service administrators support a range of tasks and activities that ensure our services run effectively. This includes:
- front-of-house support, welcoming visitors and service users and ensuring they feel respected and valued and taking calls and messages.
- administrative duties such as data entry and processing invoices
- monitoring reception areas and notice boards to ensure they are pleasant, welcoming, and display up-to-date and required key information about the service.
- maintaining strict information governance procedures when handling sensitive personal data.
- being able to communicate empathically and non-judgementally with a wide range of people from different backgrounds and experiencing different challenges and complexities around their physical or mental health.
The Service
Via deliver several services for the London Borough of Redbridge including smoking cessation, sexual health, and drug and alcohol support for adults and young people. The teams are mostly based in the main hub in Ilford Town Centre but may spend time in other satellites and locations within the community. The administration team work alongside doctors, nurses, healthcare assistants, recovery practitioners, health trainers, apprentices, peer mentors, and volunteers.
Location
The role is based at our main hub in Ilford, a short walk from the Elizabeth Line station but at times may involve travel to external meetings and other locations as needed.
