We’re seeking a Service Design and Transition Analyst to play a pivotal role in the delivery of a ground-breaking programme across the UK. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, dynamic environment and has a proven track record of building IT Service Management (ITSM) capabilities from scratch. With a September go-live date, this is a unique opportunity to deliver an end-to-end service.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Deliver ITSM Capabilities: Build robust ITSM processes and service capabilities to support the programme's successful rollout.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with a broad network of external stakeholders, including major energy providers and industry bodies, ensuring alignment across all parties.
- Programme Delivery: Drive hands-on service design and transition activities, working collaboratively in an environment with minimal project management support.
- Maturity Development: Elevate ITSM maturity in a team that is in its early stages of development.
- Problem-Solving: Address challenges creatively and ensure service designs are pragmatic, scalable, and fit for purpose.
- Calming Leadership: Balance a strong personality with a composed approach to influence and guide a diverse range of stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
- Hands-On Experience: Proven track record of delivering new ITSM services involving external parties, ideally in large-scale, high-pressure environments.
- Stakeholder Management: Skilled in working with multiple external partners and managing complex, multi-party relationships.
- Energy or Utilities Experience (Desirable): Familiarity with the energy sector or related industries would be a strong advantage.
- Delivery Mindset: A self-starter who can roll up their sleeves and get the job done without needing extensive support.
- Resilience and Adaptability: Confident and composed under pressure, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and build solutions from scratch.
- Well rounded knowledge of the ITIL framework and supplier management.
