The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) is the governing and regulatory body for horseracing in Great Britain. It is the BHA’s role to act for and on behalf of the whole sport, with a key objective being to ensure the highest standards apply on and away from the racecourse.
We are seeking an experienced Service Desk Lead to manage our in-house IT Service function, improving the experience of technology for approximately 300–400 staff.
Your focus for the first few months will be to formalise and improve IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes, baseline relevant metrics and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) that tell us if we’re heading in the right direction and begin to lay the groundwork for better incident and problem management.
Longer term you’ll play a pivotal role in improving our digital literacy, helping us get more out of our day-to-day applications such as O365, and build a more user centric service offering for devices and desktop applications.
