About The Role

LGBT Foundation is an impactful, vibrant charity with a wide portfolio of well-established services and rapidly developing new initiatives aimed at meeting the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people.

The Sexual Health Coordinator will be responsible for developing and coordinating the delivery of a comprehensive range of sexual health testing, workshops, training sessions, and interactive activities. This will include a focus on prevention tools (PrEP, PEP, U=U, condoms and lube and regular testing), pleasure (masturbation, sex toys and intimate touch) and healthy relationships (consent, boundaries and negotiation).

You will play an integral role in the writing, delivery and ongoing maintenance of LGBT Foundation’s Sexual Health community asset mapping strategy for Coventry and Warwickshire. This will include developing activities to support individuals and their communities to determine, mobilise and develop their assets. As part of the strategy, you will recruit, train and support community assets across Coventry.

The Sexual Health Coordinator will ensure that content is inclusive and reflective of the sexual health and sexual practices of all LGBTQ+ people.

The Sexual Health Coordinator will represent LGBT Foundation’s Sexual Health team at LGBTQ+ partnership and sexual health meetings, forming and maintaining partnerships with local social and support groups, influencers and venues.

Working with the Performance Manager you will utilise Salesforce (CRM system) to capture demographics, sexual history, and substance use data. You will identify trends and highlight the needs of underrepresented communities. This includes looking at how we can streamline data collection while evidencing the impact of our services. You will produce high-quality reports for funders and management.

You will work closely with the Communications Team, HCRG, and PaSH Partnership colleagues to develop and promote campaigns that highlight the sexual health, and wellbeing needs of LGBT communities. This includes being responsive to localised data and facilitating co-production of resources and materials that reflect the needs of all LGBT people across Coventry.

We are taking positive action to encourage applications from people of colour (PoC) and other racially minoritised communities, trans*, non-binary, and/or older people (aged 50+), to improve the representation of colleagues from these communities in our staff team.
