About the Role:

VHR is seeking experienced Sheet Metal Technicians to support our client’s world-class facility in the UK. This role is part of a large structural modification program in base maintenance, with a competitive hourly rate and no weekend or night shifts as standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform complex structural repairs and replacements on aircraft skin and other sheet metal components.
• Execute large sheet metal modifications and repairs in line with engineering drawings and the Structural Repair Manual (SRM).
• Ensure work is carried out to high safety and quality standards, adhering to the project timelines.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sheet Metal Structures Technician.
• Proven expertise in skin repairs/replacements and large structural modifications.
• Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings and the SRM.
• Must have the right to work in the UK (passport/visa as applicable).
• Able to obtain security clearance.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 12 months.
• Status: Outside IR35.
• Rate: Competitive hourly rate.
• Start Date: ASAP.
• Work Pattern: Monday to Friday shifts, no weekends or night shifts.
