Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Cadley Hill is looking to recruit a Value Stream Leader Assistant, working permanent night shift and based at the Cadley Hill site, DE11 9EU. This role will report to the Value Stream Leader and the primary role of the VSLA is the full leadership and vision for the night shift operatives.

- Overall day to-day running of assigned areas in support of the Value Stream Leader
- Execute the daily production plans issued to the assigned area, offering support and adaptability when necessary.
- Ensure full loading of direct operators to maximise production output and achieve the daily plan.
- Support the assigned area to focus on maximising performance, efficiency, profitability.
- Focus on absence control, H&S and Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
- Ensure that their team is motivated and working in a productive and positive atmosphere.
- 5 + years of progressive manufacturing experience with at least 2+ years in supervisory or management role
- Understanding of Lean/Six Sigma & Continuous Improvement
- Experience in Aerospace (or Automotive) industry preferred.
- A good standard of education – literate and numerate – capable of formulating and writing required reports.
- Excellent computer knowledge including Microsoft Office & Forth Shift (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Approachable and personable
- Team focused – able to work with a range of stakeholders.
- Effective organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication & interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and lead by example.
- Confident.
