Shop Mobility Volunteers

Cambridge Shopmobility is always interested to hear from individuals who might be willing to explore this important volunteering role; assisting in the day to day running of the Shopmobility Scheme which provides a mobility aid loan service to the public.
Working from our offices at either the Grafton East Car Park or the Grand Arcade Car Park we are looking for individuals who are able to communicate well with members of the public and those who are able to work as part of a team.
You will take bookings of the equipment face to face or by email or phone, input customer data and assess new customers needs ensuring the appropriate mobility aid is provided.
- Experience of customer interaction by phone and face to face
- Experience of working in a customer-facing environment such as a customer service centre or similar
- Basic IT Skills
- Problem solving skills
- Good time management skills
9.30 to 18.30 Monday to Friday
9.30 to 19.00 Saturday
11.00 to 16.00 on Sunday
We are looking for volunteers to help us at a time that suits you best across the week.
