Job Description
| Duration: 12 Months+ | Hours: Monday to Friday |
We are seeking an experienced Site Chargehand to lead a 3-person construction gang for a long-term infrastructure project in the South Gloucestershire area. The role involves supervising works related to the development of new cycle paths.
Requirements: Demonstrable experience leading civil/site works teams
Full UK driving licence
Ability to supply a 3.5-tonne tipper vehicle
Competent using small tools and light plant (breaker, disc cutter, compactor)
Experience With Cat & Genny Equipment (calibration Certs Required)
Strong organisational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily cycle path construction tasks
Coordinate team duties and manage site logistics
Ensure safe operation and tool maintenance
Liaise with site managers and local authority contacts
