Small Animal Surgery Junior Clinician and Orthopaedic Intern

Langford Vets is excited to offer two Junior Clinician positions in Small Animal Surgery and an Orthopaedic Intern at our state-of-the-art Small Animal Referral Hospital on a fixed term contract.

As a Surgery Junior Clinician, you will rotate through both Soft Tissue and Orthopaedic Surgery, gaining hands-on experience and training in all aspects of small animal surgical care. You’ll be joining a dynamic and supportive team of experts, including 9 ECVS Diplomates, multiple residents, and a broad range of other specialists across our hospital. The Orthopaedic Intern will work predominantly with the orthopaedic surgery service, gaining hands-on experience and training in all aspects of small animal surgical care

What You'll Do: 

• Work directly in clinical practice across soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery 
• Receive structured training and mentorship from experienced specialists 
• Participate in the emergency out-of-hours rota
• Contribute to clinical teaching and collaborative research initiatives 

This position is ideal for someone seeking further development with the potential to progress into a residency position upon successful completion of the programme.
