Job Title: Social Value Manager
Location: Inverness & Aberdeenshire (remote with regional travel)
Contract Length: 12 months
Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services, is currently recruiting for an experienced Social Value Manager to support the delivery of key initiatives across a major construction project in the Inverness and Aberdeenshire regions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of Social Value strategies aligned with project goals and client expectations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders and local authorities.
- Co-develop Social Value and Communication plans in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
- Drive employee participation in CSR initiatives focusing on education, the environment, and community engagement.
- Coordinate and report Social Value activity in line with the National TOMS framework for annual evaluation.
- Create case studies and share success stories and best practices across project teams.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with suppliers and local businesses, supporting regional supply chain inclusion.
- Research and engage with local skills groups, schools, and STEM networks to create impactful programs.
- Support and mentor apprentices, interns, and early-career professionals.
- Identify new opportunities for social value, including community investment and local business support.
Key Skills / Experience Required:
Essential:
- Proven experience in delivering Social Value or CSR in a project-based environment.
- Strong stakeholder and community engagement skills.
- Knowledge of the National TOMS framework and experience in data tracking and reporting.
- Digital proficiency, particularly with MS Office and STEM engagement tools.
- Familiarity with local authority or education sector environments.
- A strong connection to the Inverness and Aberdeenshire communities, with an understanding of regional needs.
- Full UK driver’s license and willingness to travel across project sites.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable:
- Background in community development, local government, or educational outreach.
- Experience supporting local SMEs and driving regional supply chain engagement.
- Previous work on infrastructure or construction-related projects involving social value planning.
