Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Software Sales Consultant at OGL Software located in Stourport-On-Severn. This role will be responsible for managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Be the primary point of contact for your allocated customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and regular in person meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular contact and exceptional customer service and providing advice and guidance on relevant software solutions and processes.
  • Present recommendations for new solutions and services aligned to the needs of the customer.
  • Attend scheduled meetings with other members of the team, including Line Managers, to discuss potential pipeline and ongoing activity.
  • Maintain an appropriate level of knowledge of products, services and technological developments to be able to advise customers.
  • Communication with internal stakeholders to assist in scoping and delivering of suggested solutions and opportunities.
  • Achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets including the renewal and retention of existing contracts.


Key Skills/Experience

  • Preferable experience of working with an ERP system. You may have used our solutions, or an alternative ERP system in your career offering you a great insight into real world benefits that can be realised.
  • Preferable experience in delivering customer-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Can demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation, internally and externally.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Committed to delivering first-class customer service and building a long-lasting trusted position.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, organised and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
  • Software and/or sales experience preferable but not essential.
