Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Software Sales Consultant at OGL Software located in Stourport-On-Severn. This role will be responsible for managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the primary point of contact for your allocated customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and regular in person meetings.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular contact and exceptional customer service and providing advice and guidance on relevant software solutions and processes.
- Present recommendations for new solutions and services aligned to the needs of the customer.
- Attend scheduled meetings with other members of the team, including Line Managers, to discuss potential pipeline and ongoing activity.
- Maintain an appropriate level of knowledge of products, services and technological developments to be able to advise customers.
- Communication with internal stakeholders to assist in scoping and delivering of suggested solutions and opportunities.
- Achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets including the renewal and retention of existing contracts.
Key Skills/Experience
- Preferable experience of working with an ERP system. You may have used our solutions, or an alternative ERP system in your career offering you a great insight into real world benefits that can be realised.
- Preferable experience in delivering customer-focused solutions based on customer needs.
- Can demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation, internally and externally.
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Committed to delivering first-class customer service and building a long-lasting trusted position.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, organised and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
- Software and/or sales experience preferable but not essential.
