- This is a role to support the Vigo sales team in the UK.
- This sales team requires an experienced Solution Consultant to support the growth of the Vigo TMS and WMS product streams across its target sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with the Sales team to build demonstrations, presentations, webinars and documentation, and to enhance our core demonstration capabilities.
- Attending workshops and Business Discovery sessions with customers and prospects to gain a thorough understanding of business requirements, and documenting their outcome.
- Building and presenting software presentations that demonstrate to our customers that our solutions can meet and exceed their requirements and provide business benefit.
- Working closely with our Professional Services Group (PSG), Support and Development teams to develop customer propositions, you will ensure that the business understands the real customer requirements and will work closely to ensure that the best available solutions, some of which may be latest developments, are implemented to meet their need.
- Ensuring that all presales requirements, information gathered, and demonstrations are documented to provide a handover to PSG and the rest of the business.
- Ensuring that the latest developments are incorporated into our demonstration and working closely with the product teams to adopt new features as well as set up and document these on the demonstration systems
- Maintaining and enhancing the core demonstration data sets in order to ensure that our systems best represents a live trading environment.
Essential
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- The ability to understand and assimilate business process and requirements and convert these to presentations & demonstration to show business benefit to the customer and why they should select Vigo as a partner
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse groups of individuals from CEO to warehouse operative, and maintain an effective working relationship within a team environment
- Ability to work under pressure with limited time and direction and to work to deadlines
- Be adaptable, work conscientiously and use own initiative and also work as part of the presales and sales teams
Desirable
- A good working knowledge of the Vigo portfolio product set.
- Knowledge and experience of Vigo core markets
- Knowledge of the Transport and warehousing industry
- Previous pre-sales experience
This role will involve travel and therefore a valid driving licence is essential.
