An opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced and innovative radiographer to join our multi-professional team, with a reputation for achieving clinical excellence.
The successful candidate will work within our brand new state-of-the-art Interventional Radiology Theatre Suite at University Hospital, Coventry.
The new £5.5 million Interventional Radiology Theatre Suite is made up of four state-of-art imaging theatres and a seven bed day case ward. It is capable of delivering minimally invasive, image guided surgery that will see patients treated quickly, effectively and discharged much quicker compared to traditional surgery.
The role also includes coordinating radiographers and imaging across the multiple operating theatres in our day surgery and main operating theatres. The trust has 26 operating theatres to include trauma, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, pain management, urology and vascular, and most recently we have undergone an image intensifier replacement programme, bringing improved image clarity and advanced technology with GE OEC elites units.
