Overall Summary
The role holder is responsible for all supporting all private client events, working closely with the Senior Events Manager to design and deliver a best in class sponsorship and events programme.
Working closely with corporate events colleagues to ensure consistency and the application of best practice across all sponsorship and events, optimising use of systems, resources, budget and acting as a brand ambassador.
Events are one of the most important tools in the marketing toolkit. Having the right client at the right event and having that event executed well is incredibly powerful and provides a positive experience that stays with clients for a long time. The role holder will play an integral role in promoting and protecting the firm’s brand and reputation in key markets and supporting a range of projects.
Responsibilities
Sponsorship & Events
- Support the inception and planning of the annual Sponsorship and Events calendar, researching opportunities that align with CBAM brand and bringing new thinking to the annual plan
- Manage and maintain sponsorship and events calendars and trackers
- Support the Senior Events Manager in securing and managing external venues, suppliers and other resources necessary to execute the private client Sponsorship and Events strategy
- Manage invitation and RSVP processes working closely with the in-house design team on creation and digital marketing colleagues on delivery, as well as acting as the key point of contact for attendees
- Bring to the role an understanding of up to date private client, market and competitor insight across events and sponsorships
- Support the delivery of all private client events including ‘at event’ attendance
- Support the vendor on boarding and contract process, invoice processing and budget management for sponsorship and events
- Manage feedback process for all events capturing best practice as well as areas for improvement for future events
- Support ROI measurement for all relevant private client events
- Use agreed systems and processes for marketing, events, lead management and client comms for all private client events and client comms
- Assist with the roll out of digital events using the management tool, Swoogo
Brand
- Support the management and delivery of the corporate merchandise portfolio including client gifts
- Act as a Brand ambassador at all times
Regulatory Responsibilities ¦ Compliance/T&C
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the regulatory framework relevant to the role, whilst practising effective risk management taking account of outcomes for clients.
- Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business. Follow principles and rules of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the internal requirements set out in the Compliance Manual, local and Group Compliance and Risk policies.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:
- Dynamic and determined Events professional with experience in complex organisations, financial services or other professional services firms preferred
- Previous corporate experience is preferred
- Proven experience running corporate events both in London and regionally across the UK
- Experience in and a clear understanding of HNW/UHNW brands and the needs, drivers and passions of HNW/UHNW clients
- High levels of energy and enthusiasm to stimulate creativity, lateral-thinking and positivity in all interactions
- Experience in managing and evaluating suppliers/agencies to ensure quality and value for money
- Excellent organisation, communication and time management skills
- Experience with commonly used Microsoft Office applications
- Commercially aware with a creative flair and an eye for detail
- High emotional intelligence with a can-do attitude whilst remaining cool and calm under pressure
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects while remaining flexible and agile
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
