Reporting to the Head of Editorial Intelligence, you'll bridge data analysis and editorial strategy to ensure our content hits the mark with our target audience.
This is a home based position and so we are therefore open to candidates based across the UK.

Job Description
As the Editorial Business Partner, you will be instrumental in analysing and interpreting large data sets to uncover trends and correlations that inform our decision-making processes. Your role will have a particular focus on Sport, and will require you to work closely with the Sports Editorial Lead, whilst also embedding yourself in the wider newsroom team.
The role will involve developing actionable insights that directly influence our editorial strategies, thereby enhancing content relevance and boosting audience engagement. You will maintain a deep understanding of editorial processes, from content creation to audience engagement techniques, while staying informed about current media and industry trends.
As a key newsroom partner, building strong relationships with our editorial teams and other stakeholders is crucial, as you will foster collaboration and open communication across departments. Acting as a liaison between data analysts and editorial teams, you will ensure that insights are tailored to meet strategic content needs. Your ability to deliver insights clearly and compellingly in both verbal and written formats, while adapting your communication style to suit different audiences, will be key to your success in this role.
Qualifications
We're seeking a candidate who excels in data analysis, with a knack for dissecting large datasets to uncover valuable insights. You should be adept at data interpretation, capable of translating complex data into clear, impactful findings.
Your talent in insights generation will drive editorial strategies with actionable recommendations. Experience in an editorial environment is preferred, with a strong grasp of content creation, audience engagement, and media trends. A passionate interest in the world of sport is essential to thrive in this role.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional collaboration skills, effectively engaging with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. You must possess the ability to articulate your findings clearly through various communication channels, with proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
