Overview

As the Senior Manager, Omnichannel Marketing, International, you will play a pivotal role in driving our omnichannel strategy and execution. This position requires a deep understanding of omnichannel marketing, with a focus on creating seamless customer experiences across all touchpoints, including face-to-face, digital, social, email and more. You will lead the development and implementation of integrated omnichannel campaigns that drive customer engagement and brand awareness.

In this role, you will be responsible for tracking and analysing the performance of omnichannel campaigns using key metrics focused on customer engagement. Your data-driven insights will be crucial in optimising strategies to achieve business goals. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including commercial, medical, business operations, country teams, legal, compliance etc will be essential to ensure alignment and integration of omnichannel initiatives. Your innovative and adaptable approach will help us stay ahead in the rapidly evolving omnichannel landscape.

You will report to the Senior Director, Omnichannel Marketing, International, and collaborate closely with the regional teams for TTR and the countries across the region.

This is a hybrid role 2x days week office based in Maidenhead, UK or Zug, Switzerland.

Summary Of Key Responsibilities

  • Work with internal and external experts to influence the diagnostic odyssey faced by patients, minimizing delays, reducing misdiagnosis, and accelerating referral to relevant specialties
  • Partner with select external providers with expertise in disease awareness campaigns, market growth tactics, diagnostics, lead generation, and omnichannel activities
  • Ensure that all projects meet high ethical, legal, compliance, data privacy, and regulatory standards, in line with Alnylam guidelines
  • Drive country teams to adopt current “turnkey initiatives” while developing future opportunities worthy of scaling up to new turnkey initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with the regional product team on the tactical planning process, contributing to ideation brainstorming and working groups for IMAC as part of the yearly brand planning exercise
  • Provide high-quality input to the regional teams to help shape regional product tactics and identify and share best practices
  • Drive yearly activity planning in collaboration with compliance and legal partners, demonstrating exemplary compliance with applicable rules and regulations
  • Develop and provide countries with tactical activities and turnkey projects tailored to the International context and in line with the regional and global strategy, such as disease awareness initiatives, promotional campaigns, and omnichannel stakeholder engagement initiatives resulting in meaningful interactions with the targeted audiences
  • Work collaboratively within the regional commercial team and beyond, including cross-functionally (medical, diagnostics, business operations, etc.) and with global and country teams
  • Ensure excellent collaboration with the medical teams, such as global medical leads, regional and country medical leaders, patient advocacy, and diagnostics, with best-in-class compliance of all activities with relevant rules and regulations
  • Act as a role model fully embodying the Alnylam values, with great attention to legal, regulatory, and compliance rules, excellent communication, collaborative attitude with other functions and global/countries, and patient centricity

Qualifications And Experiences

  • MBA, MSc, or equivalent, with a focus on marketing, omnichannel, brand management, or a related field
  • Significant commercial experience in pharma/biotech, including rare diseases/specialty pharma
  • Proven experience in marketing, commercial strategy, disease awareness, market growth, and omnichannel at the country or regional/global level
  • Strong collaboration skills with global, regional, and country teams, fostering excellent partnerships to co-develop and accelerate the adoption of omnichannel marketing deliverables that help countries achieve their goals
  • Good knowledge of the ATTR therapeutic area including the disease pathophysiology and patient journeys and capacity to learn about other diseases
  • Hands-on experience in driving omnichannel projects across multiple countries and driving agencies and external partners to achieve well-defined business goals
  • Relentless external focus, testing all plans against market and customer insights
  • Strong execution leadership - demonstrated ability to ensure outstanding execution in multi-country matrix leadership role
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Intellectual agility, able to handle the complexity of countries
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities including fluent English
  • Excellent understanding of applicable compliance, regulatory, and legal rules for commercial activities
