We are looking for driven and ambitious Band 5 Registered Staff Nurses, who are committed to delivering exceptional care for a diverse range of conditions.
The Planned Investigation Unit (PIU) on the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) site is a busy nurse-led day-case unit that sees patients from a range of specialties. These include Neurology, Haematology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, and many more, where a variety of specialist infusions and treatments are provided. The unit is currently open Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, with the possibility of expanding hours in the future.

- Support the day-to-day delivery of treatment within the nurse-led unit.
- Work as part of a team to provide an effective, safe environment of care for individual patients, their relatives, and carers.
- Act as an effective role model.
- Undertake audits where required.
- Manage time effectively to ensure smooth workflow.
- Ensure nursing care delivered is of a high standard and complies with local and Trust guidelines.
