Position Summary
This position has arisen due to an increased workload. The role is based in a busy Production Department which consists of Electrical and Mechanical Fitters along with our Goods In Department.
The role will report to a Kit Marshall who is responsible for transferring specific parts from goods in / storage locations to the Sub Assembly Cells who then proceed to build vacuum metallizing machinery.
This role is a new role due to the department becoming busier with the need for an extra team member.
Daily Tasks
Loading of parts onto racks, in a neat and tidy manner making goods readily available for Kit Marshals who then use the stored parts to prepare kits for production tasks.
Re-labelling of rack locations as stock items rotate.
Keeping the shop-floor clean
Following full training, usage of pedestrian lift truck operations.
Working closely with our Goods In Team to refine and redefine processes.
There is a potential for full training of Fork Lift Truck operations whereby following successful training, you will become accustomed to assisting goods in and moving of parts and supplies around the business in a safe and orderly manner.
This role also brings potential training for Crane and Slinging procedures.
Education and Experience:
Warehouse/Stock Control experience beneficial, but ultimately previous experience not required, Its more important that you possess the functional and personal skills and are willing to learn and adapt to be successful
