We're looking for a Stores Controller to join our Transportation team based in Wymondham. Hours: 45 hours per week
What will you be responsible for?
As a Stores Controller, you'll be working within the Stores team, supporting them running day-to-day operations of the stores at the Wymondham plant, working closely with the factory team fulfilling sales order requirements and attending to customers.
Your Day To Day Will Include
- Inducting visitors / customers / sub-contractors ensuring adherence to our PPE guidelines and site rules, issuing PPE for KHS staff and maintain the PPE register, operating weighbridge and barriers, liaising with the Factory Supervisor organising bulk collections / packed goods collection in a timely manner
- Transacting the collection of materials on the business central IT system, loading / unloading curtain-sider HGVs / couriers / customer vehicles
- Moving materials within the site as per requirement, general stores maintenance / replenishment fulfilling orders, housekeeping of yard and stores area
- Assisting in stocktaking, reporting observations, near misses and incidents, complying to the requirements of business management system e.g. applicable quality, PUWER, RAMPS, CoSHH records
What are we looking for?
This role of Stores Controller is great for you if:
- Hold a forklift licence, but training can be provided, basic numeracy skills, able to use Microsoft Office
- Demonstrate a friendly approachable manner, methodical, proactive, a team player capable of working on own initiative
- Can be flexible to attend at short notice
