We are looking for an enthusiastic, suitably well qualified person to provide leadership and direction for the continued development of Adult Care’s strategic development, efficiency and quality functions.
The post holder will inform, challenge and drive service improvements that address needs and improve outcomes for local people, ensuring statutory responsibilities are met.
The successful candidate will combine excellent technical skills with drive and innovation and personal attributes to lead and inspire the with a focus on efficiencies, strategic planning and quality assurance for the whole department.
As Strategic Development, Efficiency and Quality Lead your main job responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking and leading on department strategy and strategic objectives delivery - measuring quality and performance
- Lead for CQC assessment of the Department and any similar external reviews of departmental performance.
- To identify and implement action planning in response to external findings
- Manage the department’s performance framework and ensure that Digital Services meet our Departmental requirements for data structures/dashboards etc
- Lead on identifying and managing/mitigating departmental risks
- To advise senior leadership team on identifying and achieving efficiencies and developing advice/guidance on how we ensure benefits realisation across service activity.
Prospective candidates should have experience of developing and implementing robust performance management and quality assurance frameworks, experience of leading policy, strategy development and plans in a complex environment to drive improved performance and efficiencies.
