Description

As we continue our mission to make people happy through chocolate, we’re looking for a Strategic Revenue Management & Pricing Lead to join our Category Management team on a full-time, permanent basis.


This is a fantastic opportunity to create and embed pricing and revenue management strategies to optimise growth for the business. Hotel Chocolat is expanding in the UK and the USA in 2025, and this role will be key in ensuring we are putting consumer and customers at the centre of all markets and channels. You’ll lead the development of commercial frameworks, strategic pricing, and price pack architecture to drive revenue growth and optimise our portfolio.

Here at Hotel Chocolat, we've adopted hybrid working. This means you’ll join us on-site for three days a week, and for the other two days – you can work from wherever you like!


What you’ll be doing…

  • Creating, executing, and embedding a portfolio and market (by country/channel/customer) pricing revenue strategy including being responsible for developing pricing reports, revenue models, and pricing/promo frameworks.


  • Owning pricing reports, revenue models, and promotional frameworks to support revenue growth.
  • Guiding the delivery of Strategic Revenue Management (SRM) with annual commitments to drive growth in across these pillars:
  • Price pack architecture – driving consumer penetration and category profit pool with an optimised pack-price architecture.
  • Pricing strategy - Optimising pricing strategy on the existing range and driving the future portfolio pack strategy through tracking and monitoring environment and competitor activity.
  • P&L : Futureproofing the business P&L across all channels specifically digital commerce where there are trade investments.
  • Portfolio mix – Guide SKU optimisation and growth strategies to support the growth and MAC targets of the business

  • A strong stakeholder manager, confident in working cross-functionally and influencing across a matrix organisation.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.


Essential


  • Deep understanding of pricing, promotional effectiveness, and trade architecture.
  • Proven ability to integrate data-driven insights into processes and decision-making.
  • Experience delivering analytical products and working with product teams.
  • Strong storytelling and executive stakeholder communication skills.
  • Experience influencing without authority in a matrixed organisation.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with external data vendors and analytics providers.
  • Project management experience, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Experience within the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) and Retail sector.

Desirable

  • Experience working with Tableau and other analytics platforms.
