You will lead the development and execution of strategic projects to transform our Global Streaming Technology organisation, analyse and solve high-impact problems, generate actionable strategic insight and develop long-term plans to ensure success. Yo will collaborate with other departments to ensure that strategic initiatives are implemented effectively.

It is maternity cover opportunity, starting mid-2025 for 12 months.

What You'll Do

• Lead multiple strategic projects that transform our Global Streaming Technology organisation across the US and Europe, partnering closely with colleagues across Global Streaming Technology and Product, and professional services (Finance, HR, Legal, Communications), from both NBCU and Sky.
• Analyse and solve high-impact problems for our Global Streaming Technology organisation using a highly structured, logical approach, generating actionable strategic insight.
• Craft concise, tailored messaging and present robust, practical recommendations to leadership to obtain their buy-in.
• Lead the Objectives and Key Results process for Global Streaming Technology, in collaboration with Global Streaming Product, setting annual OKRs, reporting on them quarterly to LT and Town Hall audience.
• Manage c. three Global Streaming Technology and Product joint leadership team offsites per year to progress strategy and alignment between Technology and Product. Work in close collaboration with Product and align to needs of CTO, CPO and their LTs. Coordinate agenda, being clear on purpose, inputs and outputs and contributors/attendees for each session, ensuring materials are ready and suitable, capturing and tracking actions.
• Drive the strategic governance cadence for Global Streaming Technology:
• Oversee production of fortnightly progress report from each LT member, to ensure alignment among CTO and LT, and to update senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate a monthly Business Operations Review for Global Streaming LT to track progress towards its goals, working closely with HR, Finance, Legal, to ensure agenda covers key strategic and operational topics, with deep dives on topics of timely interest.
• Lead multi-disciplinary team members effectively without formal line management, aligning tasks to what motivates them.
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders of varying levels of seniority.
  

What You'll Bring

• Demonstrated experience in leading the development and execution of strategic projects, particularly in a global technology organisation.
• A rigorous approach to decomposing and simplifying complex problems – demonstrated ability to combine strong analytical skills with a highly structured, logical approach to solving high-impact problems and generating actionable strategic insights.
• Impeccable communication skills (both written and verbal) – proven experience in crafting concise, tailored messaging to engage and influence senior leaders with robust, practical recommendations and obtain their buy-in for strategic recommendations.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint/presentation skills – extensive experience conducting independent quantitative analysis and creating compelling presentations with a clear narrative.
• A proven relationship-builder, able to build and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders of varying levels of seniority, and who influences others’ views effectively and persuasively – adept at navigating ambiguous, matrixed organisations to deliver results, including working closely with colleagues across different regions (US and Europe) and departments to ensure effective implementation of strategic initiatives.
• Intellectual curiosity and proactivity – consistently striving for 'so what' and pre-empting solutions.
• Strong team player who enjoys fast-paced environments and thrives on change.
• Highly experienced working within the media or technology sector.
• Experience at a top-tier firm in consulting or equivalent desirable but not essential.
