Job Title: SunSystems Systems Accountant

Salary: £60,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities
Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify and resolve inefficiencies in financial processes through automation and system upgrades.
- Lead system enhancements to streamline workflows and reduce manual input.
- Optimise data flows for improved reporting and compliance.
- Collaborate with Finance Systems & Change and IT teams on tool integration.
First-Line System Support
- Serve as the initial point of contact for system-related queries.
- Troubleshoot and escalate issues as needed.
- Manage user access and maintain Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls.
- Deliver training and guidance on system use and best practices.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
System Optimisation & Change Management
- Continuously assess system performance against business needs and compliance.
- Support system upgrades with minimal disruption.
- Work with stakeholders to assess and implement changes.
- Build and maintain system audit trails and process documentation.
Qualifications
- Part/fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Advanced Excel and Word skills.
