About the role

We are looking for a Supplier Relationship & Governance Specialist on a fixed term contract basis until the end of the year.


The Supplier Relationship & Governance Specialist is a key part of a small team at Just and supports the team in the delivery of Just’s Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) programme. This role supports the SRM & Governance Manager in delivery of business as usual supplier due diligence tasks. This involves continuous collaboration with business owners of Just’s key supplier relationships to ensure governance tasks and supporting materials are delivered and curated on Procurement’s contracts management and governance platform. The role also involves maintenance and enhancements to the platform.


The role additionally supports the supplier relationship management (SRM) governance framework aligned to the Group Procurement & Outsourcing Policy (GPOP) and regulatory requirements. The framework ensures that material outsourcing and third parties to Just are onboarded, monitored and managed to a standard that minimises external risks to Just.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in SRM Governance Framework: Support the maintenance of the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) governance framework, ensuring alignment with the Group Procurement & Outsourcing Policy (GPOP) and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration with Relationship Managers: Work closely with Relationship Managers across the organisation to review supplier performance, identify third-party risks, and ensure effective risk management practices.
  • Governance Milestones: Ensure Relationship Managers meet periodic milestones for governance activities.
  • Due Diligence: Support due diligence exercises on existing and proposed suppliers.
  • Risk Reviews: Facilitate annual risk reviews, ensuring identified third-party risks are owned, accepted, or have agreed mitigating actions.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of supplier performance and risk assessments. Prepare regular reports and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth onboarding, monitoring, and management of third-party suppliers.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of TPRM processes and practices, identifying opportunities for enhancement and implementing best practices.
  • Assisting with the production of formal documents and policies


Skills & Experience

  • Experience in supplier relationship management, procurement or risk management
  • Ability to work effectively and under own initiative
  • Financial Services background desirable but not essential
  • SRM certified / CIPS qualified desirable
  • Ability to work with numerous stakeholders across an extensive and varied supplier base
  • Supplier database management and reporting
  • Commercial awareness
  • Knowledge of TPRM concepts and explaining the concepts to Relationship Managers
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Highly organised and structured ways of working
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • System and process development skills
  • Formal document writing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using software tools for data management and reporting
  • Working collaboratively in a team environment
